A Storybook Sanctuary for your Perfect Day
This historic adobe chapel located in the heart of Carmel Valley Village is the perfect place for your storybook wedding. The sanctuary offers a soaring wood beam ceiling and artisan stained glass windows. Seating is suitable for up to 100 guests.
The beauty and warmth of the chapel can be enhanced with candlelight, flowers or any suitable decorations you desire. We have professional design services available to assist you on this special occasion.
The Carmel Valley Community Chapel is non denominational. Our minister, Rick Yramategui, is available to officiate your wedding, but you have the option of an outside minister.

Where is the chapel located?
The chapel is in picturesque Carmel Valley Village at Paso Hondo & Village Dr. It is 20 minutes inland from Carmel-by-the-Sea.
Who can help me coordinate my wedding?
Our Wedding Coordinator oversees all wedding activities at the church. If you choose to bring in an off-site coordinator, our chapel Wedding Coordinator will work closely with that person and oversee all church related aspects of the wedding.
What kind of music can we have at our ceremony?
We have an excellent grand piano available to guest pianists. You may wish to use a solo musician or an ensemble. The Wedding Coordinator can assist with your choices.
What are the fees for a wedding?
If you have a wedding with 20 or more guests, the fee is $550 and includes use of the Sanctuary, Wedding Coordinator/Staff, and Rehearsal.
If you have a private wedding with less than 20 guests, the fee is $300. This includes Sanctuary, Wedding Coordinator/Staff, and Rehearsal, if needed.
What are the fees for Pastor Rick to officiate the wedding?
Pastor Rick’s fee of $300 includes a consultation to plan your service, the rehearsal and the ceremony. He will help you make your ceremony exactly as you wish it.
Please note that musicians, flowers and decorations are not included in the fees.
