Below are 3 sites that seem to provide a very wide range of nonconical documents. Each
has a different way for you select what you would like to see. The sites are presented in the order
of the greatest ease of use ( means of finding the document you want ).
Early Christian Writings: New Testment, Apocrypa, Gnostics, Church Fathers
http://www.earlychristianwritings.com/
The purpose of this web site is to set out all of the Christian writings that are believed
to have been written in the first and second centuries, as well as a few selected from the
early third. I have also included non-Christian documents that may have special bearing on
the study of early Christianity in order to make this web site a comprehensive sourcebook.
I have provided links to English translations for all of these documents. When available,
the work has also been provided in the original language, usually Greek. I have also
provided information and scholarly opinion regarding the background, authorship, dating,
and provenance of these documents. These comments are intended to provide an introduction.
Pseudepigrapha, Apocrypha and Sacred Writings
http://www.pseudepigrapha.com/
Welcome To Pseudepigrapha, Apocrypha and Sacred Writings.
I have an interest in all documents that even might be classified as Holy. While there are
a lot of sites out there that have portions of what I am interested in, this site is a
collection of all I have found.
This site also has a few document from other faiths
( look towrds the bottom of the contents page ).
THE GNOSIS ARCHIVE: Resources on Gnosticism and Gnostic Tradition
http://www.gnosis.org/search_form.html
The Gnosis Archive, www.gnosis.org, offers a vast collection of primary texts and resources
relating to Gnosticism and the Gnostic Tradition, both ancient and modern. The link above
is to the search page within the site. You will need to know the name of the work you want to
investigate.
